VCF 9 – Certificate Replacements

We have a new and improved workflow for Certificates in VCF 9:
ESX Certificates now supported in the Operations Console!
Auto-renewal now supported if you are using the CA Integration!

First, we configure the integration with a Microsoft CA

Now we can generate a CSR, and replace the certs directly from the CA.

After a few minutes, the process will complete. It can take a few more minutes before the new certs show in the Operations console.

You can now repeat this process for every component.

To enable auto-renewal, we just select the option on the main page:

To see the ESX certs, we browse to the VCF Domain and select “Show ESX Hosts”
